"Čikāgas piecīši" is a folk band found in 1961 in Chicago by Latvian exiles. They were extremely popular both in Soviet Latvia and Latvian community in the USA for many decades. Most of their songs are humorous, although they have many bitter songs about longing for Motherland. In 1989 "Čikāgas Piecīši" had their first concert tour in Latvia, the most notable gig was held in Mežaparks estrade, Riga.
